I am currently Professor of Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy at Harvard University.

Before joining the Harvard Department of Philosophy, I taught at Tufts for one year as an adjunct.

I received my Ph.D. in philosophy from the [Department of Linguistics and Philosophy](http://web.mit.edu/philosophy/) at [MIT](http://web.mit,edu) in 2005.

I received my B.A. as a college scholar from Cornell University in 1999.

I grew up in Wiesbaden, Germany.
